Is Frolovs Device For Me?

In our clinic we recommend the device to certain people, and not to others. We recommend the TV exercises to everyone, and depending on the status of someones lung and cardiovascular system, we might have them use the device as part of the TV exercise program. Here are the guidelines we use to determine if Frolov training is indicated.

Cardiovascular Problems

Perhaps the number one benefit is the Frolov device is improved circulation everywhere. If you have any problems related to clogging of your arteries, for you the frolov device could very well be the only practical way to reverse that trend.

COPD

Ridding yourself of scarring in the lungs is not even a possibility according to most people. However, the body has a mechanism to do just that, and it involves low oxygen. If you sprained your ankle, there would be scarring and decreased circulation due to damage of the blood vessels.

Because of the lack of circulation there is a low oxygen concentration, and that low oxygen concentration initiates a cascade of events resulting in dissolving of scar as well as increased blood vessel growth. That is the process that occurs in the lungs when training with the Frolov device. So any scarring or asthma should be considered an obvious indication for Frolov training in our opinion.

Difficulty Sleeping

Again, our TV exercises will make most people begin to sleep deep due to the fact that we are training the dopamine producing cells with our eccentric exercises. However, all this depends on circulation to the brain which Frolov training will accomplish the first night. We have noticed that improved sleep is the most common effect of Frolov training.

Chest Breathing

If abdominal inhalation is difficult, or if the tone in your exhale is weak (your belly is round instead of flat), Frolov training might be the only practical solution. Again, all the other TV exercises help integrate your breathing, but things just happen much faster in this case if you can develop some tone in your exhalation as you do the other TV exercises.

Poor General Conditioning

The better shape you are in, the easier it is for you to train your oxygen system, because your oxygen system works at low intensity. The worse your general conditioning, evidenced by being winded easily or tiring with mild exercise, the more likely the Frolov Device would be beneficial. If you are young and strong and can run, you don’t need the device unless you have asthma or are a habitual chest breather.
