Neck and Back Pain
Trimming up sounds great, but how can the same device fix my back and neck? Abdominal breathing puts almost no strain on the neck. It is almost universal that people with neck and shoulder pain are chest breathers because chronic chest breathing creates a tremendous burden on the neck. As soon as abdominal breathing becomes automatic, that burden is literally lifted from the neck.
At the same time, the breathing muscles are largely responsible for stabilizing the low back. Those muscles are designed to go out of commission temporarily after injury or irritation of any abdominal or pelvic organs. However, when the irritation persists, the weakness of the breathing muscles actually becomes a new source of back weakness. The FRTD breaks that cycle by strengthening the back stabilizing muscles, which are also breathing muscles.
Here is the beauty of the FRTD. Because breathing is done with a small amount of resistance, you need only train once a day, starting with 5-10 minutes. Who doesn't have time for that? Training is recommended before bed and has consistently resulted in a night of deep sleep.
